Every year Ubisoft’s E3 conference always finds a way to have some fun with their developers and fans. There is a lot of games expected to show up and some we hope surprise us. Sadly we didn’t get a new Splinter Cell, but we did get some stuff I’m excited for and I’ve got all the good stuff right here for you. So sit back, relax and catch up on the Ubisoft conference or just enjoy the many trailers that dropped.
Watch Dogs Legion
Ubisoft wasn’t going to hold back and they came right out of the gate with Watch Dogs Legion. I loved what Watch Dogs 2 did for the series and to see how ambitious Ubisoft is getting with Legion has me excited to get my hands on it.
Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet
It wouldn’t be an Ubi show without some tv show or movie announcement but at least this looks funny. Rob McElhenny is a creative director of a game company that’s making it’s first expansion for their hit mmo. I got a good chuckle from it so that’s something.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege
A slick new trailer for Warden, one of two new operators, to show off in. Add some Kingsman music to give it even more class and the game plays itself.
BRAWLHALLA – ADVENTURE TIME
One of the weirdest trailers we got. Adventure time finished it’s run last year, so you can be forgiven in wondering why this is suddenly a thing. Either way I’m not gonna turn down some more characters in brawlhalla.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint
We got to see some more footage of Breakpoint and I’m all ready to squad up with friends. The big announcement that followed was the reintroduction of AI companions. So if you don’t have friends that are into the whole tactile combat thing, then you don’t have to worry about going it alone anymore.
Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad
This isn’t the Sam Fisher I’m looking for but it is a nice looking mobile game. Ubisoft has brought together a collection of their Tom Clancy characters in this 5V5 real-time RPG.
JUST DANCE 2020
It wouldn’t be a Ubisoft E3 conference without Just Dance popping up. At least they are rolling with it and just having fun with it all. The franchise is celebrating 10 years and it looks like it is here to stay.
FOR HONOR – SHADOWS OF THE HITOKIRI
For Honor is getting another new character and map, that’s all very horrific. I suck at the game but a buddy of mine is really into it, so I’ll have to get his take on the new axe wielding monster woman that will be haunting my nightmares.
Rainbow Six Quarantine
It seems like the success of Outbreak, a timed event for Rainbow Six, warranted it’s own game. I’m glad we’re getting a PVE focused game set in the Rainbow universe as it has been far too long.
THE DIVISION 2
Division 2 showed off what to expect with it’s expansion content called episodes. Episode one will see us tracking down a traitor and the leader of the Outcasts. While episode two looks to explore the Pentagon, which has been taken by the black tusk. We were also promised a new raid with episode two and to finish off we got a tease of episode 3 set in New York.
UPLAY+
YAY!! Another subscription service to keep track off. At $15 a month you can get access to Ubisoft’s library both new and old. Though I don’t appreciate the Splinter Cell sound when there is no sign of a new game.
Roller Champions
It’s always nice to see new IP and it has been awhile since we got a unique sports game, so perfect timing. As an added bonus you can download the beta right now for free and give it a spin.
Gods & Monsters
A final new IP announcement to finish us off this year and it has my interest. I first thought this might be a Greek mythology Monster Hunter but now I’m leaning towards a more Breath of the Wild angle. I do love Greek mythology so I’m up to seeing more of Gods & Monsters in action.
So that’s all the news and trailers from Ubisofts E3 conference. I’m glad we got some new IP’s to look forward too and updates on some of their bigger games. Sadly there was no Splinter Cell or Beyond Good or Evil 2 shown off but we did get some amazing stuff to drool over. I’ll be continuing my E3 coverage and if you’ve been behind on the news then have a look at my Star Wars jedi: Fallen Order and XBOX conference coverage.
This is probably my show of E3 so far just based on the percentage of games here that I plan on buying. With that said it was still lackluster and a lot of that has to do with the leaks before E3 started. Seems like that’s just the way it’s always going to be now
